Hi! I'm not new to DeviantART but this account is the new me and I'm very excited about it.

My son, , and I, (edited to add "and now my daughter, )are both new owners of Nikon cameras (Lindsey bought a Canon). Recently, we spent some time together learning the functions of the camera and challenged each other to capture images. We started our own little photo club.

Now, he will vehemently deny that it's a photo club because his buddies may tease him about it, so... we'll just call it a wonderful reason for him to spend time with his Mother (and my baby girl too).

This week, we challenged each other to capture "yellow things" (my word, that was nearly a year ago) that are examples of the camera functions ISO, F-stop and shutter speed.

Since my gallery is empty, I will be uploading a few of my photos that aren't yellow too.

In any event, I'm happy to be here and look forward to learning to take great photos with my son and you!!
